Mantaray Creative Group is a full service media, creative agency and production company. We are currently experiencing a growth period and require great people to help with our expansion. Successful applicants must have at least 3-5 years of experience in an advertising and design environment.

We are looking to fill the following positions:

    Web Designer/Developer

    Mantaray Creative is looking for a talented web designer/developer to join our team in our Calgary office. Mantaray is a full-service advertising agency, production company, and all-round cool place to work. Our people are talented, passionate & produce killer creative.

    As web designer/developer, you will build and maintain polished, creative web sites as part of our integrated creative services to our clients. You will help our clients reach and engage their audiences by anticipating their needs and providing a site that exceeds them.

    Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience with hand-coding HTML, CSS and Javascript; an understanding of creative and strategic web design; and an ability and desire to work as part of a team, with a variety of clients with a variety of needs.

    Desired Skills/ Experience:

    - 2+ years development experience with hand-coding HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
    - Experience working with Expression Engine and WordPress is an asset
    - Understanding of information architecture and hierarchy
    - Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the web
    - Proficiency with Cross Browser, Cross Platform Issues
    - Experience in working within a team environment
    - Experience with Mac OS an asset
    - Graphic Design experience is an asset.

    Business Development Manager

    Mantaray Creative seeks an experienced Business Development Manager based in our Calgary office. The Business Development Manager will identify, qualify and secure business opportunities by cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential clients.

    The Business Development Manager will double as an Account Executive and will leverage mid to executive-level relationships to develop targeted sales strategies that convey a customized approach to all business pursuits.The Business Development Manager (BDM) participates in a team-selling environment, providing the customer with a primary point of contact within Mantaray. In this capacity, the BDM will assume the ownership role for their assigned accounts and drive the identification and qualification of opportunities while executing account strategy and generating support and service revenues. In addition, the BDM will pursue and close new sales opportunities. The BDM will facilitate and maintain successful relationships with current and potential customers, which will be measured by customer satisfaction levels, increased revenue and overall account penetration.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    Your skill set should include:

    -An enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem solving skills
    -Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    -Excellent oral and written communication skills
    -Dynamic presentation skills
    -BA/BS/ MBA or relevant degree
    -Experience in traditional marketing, new media marketing and social marketing
    -Experience in business development/ senior sales role within competitive selling environment
    -Team player that works well with others
    -Proven track record for successfully landing, maintaining and managing new accounts
    -Minimum 5+ years of sales experience with a service component. Demonstrated sales success in the oil and gas, energy, industry preferred.
    -Additional sales/marketing and/or business development experience an asset specifically in the real estate, automobile and fashion industries.

    Responsibilities

    -Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities through the successful execution of cold and warm approaches
    -Position Mantaray to win new business within the account by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies that are based on valid, customer-specific value propositions
    -Routinely discuss and communicate opportunity plan sales strategy with other members of the sales team, as well as Mantaray’s senior partners and management
    -Maintain an accurate and documented pipeline of opportunities (prospects and suspects) within Mantaray and provide appropriate communication of such to Mantaray management
    -Provide Mantaray senior management with accurate and timely sales forecasts within Mantaray CRM to ensure proper visibility of new business within Mantaray to optimize effective resource planning throughout the Mantaray organization
    -Continuously gather knowledge of competitors and how to effectively position Mantaray solutions against them
    -Leverage and effectively communicate Mantaray’s solutions within the accounts to broaden Mantaray’s presence and create new revenue opportunities
    -Identify, Assess, Coordinate, Write and submit RFP’s on an ongoing basis

    Marketing and Production Coordinator

    Our ideal candidate will have completed a marketing or communications degree and should be comfortable dealing with both suppliers and clients.

    Your skill set should include:

    Attention to detail
    Ablility to work in a fast-paced environment
    Effective writing and communication skills
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Apple iWorks – (esp. word processing and spreadsheets)
    Working knowledge of Quickbooks

    Experience with Mac OS an asset

    Intermediate / Senior Graphic Designer

Yes, it is possible to create great stuff and have fun doing it.

    So here’s the deal.  You should have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience designing in an agency environment, and the book to prove it.  You should also have intimate relationships with graphic design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.  If you do, we want to hear from you.

    Base Skill Set:

    • • Strong design portfolio with 3+ years design experience.
    • • In-depth knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
    • • Experience working within a team environment.
    • • Web design experience is a strong asset.

    • • Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with creative people.
    • • An absolute ace with Adobe Creative suite
